Organic waste isn't trash: It's a valuable natural resource
Compost piles at Trash Transfer Station

Teton County is committed to collecting organic waste — including food scraps, yard trimmings, clean lumber, and other compostable materials —and turning it into something useful.

By keeping these materials out of the landfill, we can reduce greenhouse gas emissions, conserve truckloads going to the landfill in Idaho, and turn waste into nutrient-rich compost that supports healthy soil and landscapes.
