Holiday Hours at the Recycling Center and Trash Transfer Station

Jackson, WY., December 18, 2024 – The Teton County Trash Transfer Station and Recycling Center will both be closed on the upcoming holidays.

Trash Transfer Station Schedule:

Closed: Wednesday, December 25th, 2024 (Christmas Day) and Wednesday, January 1, 2025 (New Year’s Day).

The Trash Transfer Station will be open to the public under normal business hours on: 

Tuesday, December 24th, and 31st from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm 

Thursday, December 26th and January 2nd from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Recycling Center Schedule:

Closed: Wednesday, December 25th and Wednesday, January 1st.

Early Closure: The Recycling Center office will close at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, December 24th

As always, outdoor recycling bins at the Recycling Center and all community recycling sites are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  Please be considerate and flatten all cardboard to prevent overflow.  If bins are full, please do NOT leave recyclables on the ground.  Try a different community site or hold them until bins can be emptied the following business day.  Traditional gift wrap is not recyclable.  Thank you for recycling!
