Dive into Fun, Fitness, and Community at our Aquatic Center!

Whether you're just learning to swim or training for competition, our Aquatic Center offers something for everyone. We provide a dynamic range of swim lessons and aquatic fitness programs for all ages, from energetic kids to active adults. As the proud home of the Jackson Hole Stingrays and local middle and high school swim teams, our facility is a hub for swimmers of every skill level.

We have towels available to rent at our front desk! Please make sure to return your rented towel to the towel bins in our locker rooms.

Aquatics Center Rules & FAQs

In order to provide a safe and fun experience for everyone, we kindly ask that everyone please follow the rules and guidelines listed below.

Height & Age Requirements

  • An adult must accompany children in the water who are less than 3.5 feet tall or are non-swimmers, and must remain in the aquatic facility with children under eight years old. 
  • This guideline is set not only for children’s safety but for parental assurances as well.

Life Jackets

  • US Coast Guard approved life jackets and puddle jumpers are available  for use in the aquatics area at no charge.
  • The only flotation devices allowed in the pool are USCG approved lifejackets and puddle jumpers.  Water wings, tubes, etc. that are not USCG approved are not permitted.

Aquatics Center Rules

  • Thoroughly shower prior to entering the pool.
  • Walk at all times.
  • Please refrain from excessive splashing, screaming, horseplay or offensive actions/language.
  • Playing on or jumping off ladders is not permitted.
  • No hanging on safety line/lane lines.
  • Diving is not permitted in shallow water.
  • Jumping off the side of the pool backwards is not permitted.
  • No under water breath holds.
  • Never pretend to need a lifeguard and always obey the lifeguard's instructions.
  • No gum, food, or drink in the pool area.
  • Appropriate swimwear is required. Swimwear must provide adequate coverage and not consist of buckles, exposed zippers, metal ornaments, rivets, or frayed materials.
  • Mermaid tails are prohibited. 
  • Please keep doorways and pool deck free of personal items.
  • Excessive displays of affection are not permitted.
  • Hot Tub, Sauna, Steam Room and Therapy Pool* are for patrons 18 years of age or older.
    • Therapy Pool is available to individuals under 18 with a doctor's note and parental supervision.
  • Scuba equipment is only allowed during scuba courses.
  • People suffering from communicable diseases or under the influence of drugs or alcohol are not permitted in the pools.

Waterslide Rules

  • Maximum operational load: 1 person, 300 lbs.
  • Children under 48 inches tall are not permitted on this ride.
  • Eyeglasses must be securely affixed to riders with head straps.
  • Swimwear with exposed zippers, buckles, rivets or metal ornamentation are not permitted.
  • Only one rider to enter the flume at a time. Single riders only!
  • Never form chains.
  • Slide must be ridden feet first lying on your back or in a sitting position (sit up to go slower, lie down to go faster).
  • Keep arms and hands inside the flumes at all times.
  • Do not run, dive, stand, kneel, rotate, or stop in the slide.
  • At the end of the slide, obey all instructions by splash pool attendant and exit quickly.
  • CAUTION: For safety reasons, pregnant women and persons with heart conditions or back trouble should not ride this slide.

General Aquatic Center Guidelines 

  • Diving board hours may vary according to patron attendance and number of staff.
  • Please remove shoes when walking on pool deck.
  • No person age five (5) or older shall use the restroom/washroom designated for the opposite sex.  There are four family changing rooms next to the men’s and women’s locker rooms that are available for use.
  • If maximum capacity is being reached, a 10-minute break will occur at the top of every hour. Hourly breaks are typically done during summer season.

Staff reserves the right to refuse facility use if rules are not followed or if inappropriate behavior is exhibited.
