Voting at the Absentee Polling Place

Teton County has an absentee polling place that is located in the basement of the Teton County Administration Building at 200 S Willow Street, Jackson, WY 83001. All qualified electors wishing to vote in person may vote at the absentee polling site. 

The absentee polling site is open Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for 28 days prior to the 2026 Primary Election and 2026 General Election

The absentee polling site is not open on Election Day. You must vote at a designated Vote Center on Election Day.

Picking up a ballot at the Absentee Polling Place

You can also stop by the absentee polling site and pick up a ballot and take it home with you. You will need to fill out the absentee ballot request form in order to pick up a ballot. You can fill out the form in advance or fill out the form when you get to the office. 

Picking up a ballot on behalf of someone else

If you are picking up a ballot on behalf of someone else, you need to provide our office with a completed absentee ballot request form from that person, or provide a hand written note from the person that gives you permission to pick up their ballot. 

Deadline of Receiving Ballots

All absentee ballots must be received in the Clerk`s Office by 7 p.m. on the day of the Election to be counted.
