Parkside at Benson -Brown Station is the newest partnership between Teton County & Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Teton Area (Teton Habitat) and will create 18 homes for local families and individuals. This development is multi-faceted with three major components: Affordable housing construction, historic restoration, and rerouting the Cache Creek Ditch.

Affordable Housing Construction: Teton County is providing Teton Habitat with a long-term ground lease of the property. In return, Teton Habitat is constructing 18 townhomes that will serve households earning less than 80% of median family income.

Historic Restoration: This 1.08-acre property located at 445 E. Kelly Avenue is the site of the first hydropower plant in Teton County. In recognition of the site's historic significance, Teton County via the Housing Department is restoring the Brown Cabin and relocating it to the southeast corner of the property. The historic water turbines have also been brought above-grade and will be used as part of a future educational display.

Cache Creek Ditch: The ditch will be rerouted through Mike Yokel Park, allowing the public access to this water amenity and providing a natural barrier between the park and the new homes.
