Past Partnership Projects
Over the past 25 years, the Town of Jackson and Teton County through the Housing Authority ("JTCHA") and Housing Department have partnered with private developers to build deed restricted housing for our local workforce. This work is a cornerstone of the housing programs in our community.

We regularly partner with two nonprofit developers - Teton Habitat for Humanity & the Jackson Hole Community Housing Trust - to build homes for local workers and their families. Read more about our work with these two organizations, below.
Teton Habitat - 50 homes (built) + 15 homes in development
- Homes built in partnership with the Town and/or County: 50 homes
- Town, County, and Housing Authority funding provided to Teton Habitat: $5,386,698. This does not include staff time.
- Developments include:
- Parkside at Benson & Brown Station - 18 ownership units (3 complete, 15 under construction 2022-2026) serving households earning <80% MFI. County provided $3,475,383 for this project (land + horizontal infrastructure).
- The Grove Phase III - 24 ownership units complete in 2021 serving households earning <80% MFI. JTCHA provided land ($1,128,000), County provided infrastructure ($190,128).
- 5-2-5 Hall: 5 ownership units complete in 2011 serving households earning <80% MFI. JTCHA provided land ($593,187) and shared infrastructure costs with Teton Habitat.
- Wilson Park: 1 ownership unit complete in 2009 serving households earning <80% MFI. JTCHA provided land
- Melody Ranch: 16 ownership units complete in 2002 serving households earning <80% MFI. JTCHA provided land
- Millward Redevelopment: 1 ownership unit complete in 2004 serving households earning <80% MFI. JTCHA provided land
Jackson Hole Community Housing Trust ("JHCHT") - 96 homes
- Homes built in partnership with the Town and/or County: 96 homes
- Town, County, and Housing Authority funding provided to the Community Housing Trust (including Town's annual operations contribution): $16,089,335. This does not include staff time.
- Developments include:
- 174 N. King Street - 24 ownership units complete in 2022 serving households earning <150% MFI. Town invested $4,910,000. As consideration, the Town of Jackson received 5 employee rights of first purchase. ($204,583 public investment per unit)
- Redmond Street Rentals - 28 rental units complete in 2018 serving households earning <150% MFI. JTCHA invested $1,950,000 and Town of Jackson invested $3,750,000. As consideration, the Town received 3 employee rights of first purchase or rent. ($203,571 public investment per unit)
- Daisy Bush - 8 ownership units complete in 2014 serving households earning <150% MFI. Town provided $1,800,000. ($225,000 public investment per unit)
- Mountain View Meadows - 36 ownership units built in 1994 & 1995 serving households earning <150% MFI. JTCHA developed the project ($3,419,335), then handed management to the Housing Trust. JTCHA still owns the land. ($94,982 public investment per unit)
