Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held by the Teton County Board of County Commissioners for the purpose of considering Fees for Septic Permits, Grading and Erosion Control Permits, Work in Live Waterbody Permits, Bridge Permits, Right of Way Permits, Driveway Access Permits, and Floodplain Permits, pursuant to Wyoming Statute §16-3-103. The Public Hearing will be held in the Commissioners Meeting Room of the Teton County Administration Building at 200 S. Willow Street in Jackson, Wyoming on July 15, 2025 in a regular meeting that begins at 9:00 a.m. Information regarding the fees and the proposed fees may be obtained from the County Clerk or at the County Engineer's Office, located at 320 S King Street in Jackson, or by clicking HERE. Comments can be submitted prior to July 11, 2025 to the Teton County Director of Public Works at PO BOX 3594, Jackson, WY 83001 or at hoverholser@tetoncountywy.gov.

NOTICE OF INTENT TO ADOPT THE 2024 INTERNATIONAL BUILDING CODE, 2024 INTERNATIONAL RESIDENTIAL CODE, 2024 INTERNATIONAL EXISTING BUILDING CODE, 2024 INTERNATIONAL MECHANICAL CODE, 2024 INTERNATIONAL FUEL GAS CODE, 2024 INTERNATIONAL FIRE CODE, 2024 INTERNATIONAL PROPERTY MAINTENANCE CODE, 2024 INTERNATIONAL PLUMBING CODE, 2024 INTERNATIONAL WILD LAND URBAN INTERFACE CODE, and 2021 INTERNATIONAL ENERGY CONSERVATION CODE WITH NEW AMENDMENTS

Teton County, Wyoming intends to consider the adoption of following:

  • 2024 INTERNATIONAL BUILDING CODE (including Appendix C, Group U-Ag building; Appendix I, Patio Covers)
  • 2024 INTERNATIONAL RESIDENTIAL CODE (including Appendix BB, Tiny Homes and Appendix BE, Radon Control Methods)
  • 2024 INTERNATIONAL EXISTING BUILDING CODE (including Appendix A, Guidelines for the Seismic Retrofit of Existing Buildings)
  • 2024 INTERNATIONAL MECHANICAL CODE (including Appendix A, Combustion Air Openings and Chimney Connecter Pass-Throughs)
  • 2024 INTERNATIONAL FUEL GAS CODE (specifically excluding all appendices)
  • 2024 INTERNATIONAL FIRE CODE (including Appendices B, C, D, F, H, I, N and O)
  • 2024 INTERNATIONAL PROPERTY MAINTENANCE CODE (as such code is referenced in the IBC, IFC, IMC, and the IFGC, but only to the extent that the referenced provisions apply to fire and life safety)
  • 2024 INTERNATIONAL PLUMBING CODE (including Appendix E, Sizing of Water Piping System)
  • 2024 INTERNATIONAL WILD-LAND URBAN INTERFACE CODE (including all of the appendices and inclusion of new map that includes all of the unincorporated area of Teton County, Wyoming)

Teton County intends to remain operating under the 2021 International Energy Conservation Code, with the new amendments. A copy of the proposed rules can be viewed at Jackson Hole Fire/EMS Department located at 40 East Pearl Avenue in Jackson, at the County Administration Building at 200 South Willow Street in Jackson, or by clicking HERE (Building Codes) and HERE (Fire Codes. A hearing on the proposed rules shall be held on January 7, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. during the regular meeting of the Teton County Board of County Commissioners Meeting at the County Commissioner's Chambers located at 200 South Willow Street in Jackson.  


Notice of Intent to Adopt Amendments to Teton County Fair and Fairgrounds Fees and Rules

Teton County, Wyoming intends to consider changes/amendments to the Teton County Fair and Fairgrounds Fees and Rules. Specifically, the Board of County Commissioners will consider increasing the noise complaint fee from $150 to $500 and conforming language. All interested parties may obtain a copy of the proposed fee changes at the Teton County Fairgrounds Office located at 305 W. Snow King Avenue in Jackson, Wyoming, specifically Rachel Grimes, Fair and Fairgrounds Manager. The proposed rules can also be viewed by clicking HERE.  A hearing on the proposed rules will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. during the regular meeting of the Teton County Board of County Commissioners Meeting at the County Commissioner's Chambers located at 200 S. Willow Street in Jackson, Wyoming.

 


Notice of Intent to Adopt Amendments to the 2018 Jackson/Teton County Affordable Housing Department Rules and Regulations for Teton County, Wyoming

The Jackson/Teton County Affordable Housing Department has been directed by the Teton County Board of County Commissioners and Jackson Town Council to release the amended "Housing Department Rules and Regulations" for the 45-day public review period prior to adoption by the Teton County Board of County Commissioners and the Jackson Town Council. The Jackson/Teton County Affordable Housing Rules and Regulations Amendments are available for review by clicking HERE or at the following offices: Teton County Clerk's Office at 200 S Willow Street in Jackson and the Jackson/Teton County Housing Department at 320 S. King Street in Jackson. 


A hearing to take public comment will be held in the Commissioner's Chambers at 200 S. Willow Street in Jackson on December 2, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. in a Joint Meeting of the Teton County Board of County Commissioners and Jackson Town Council.  Notice of Intent to Amend the Teton County Wildland Urban Interface Code, Specifically to Expand the Wildland Urban Interface Map to Include All of the Unincorporated Area of Teton County, Wyoming 

Teton County, Wyoming intends to amend the Teton County Wildland Urban Interface Code, which is an adoption of the 2021 International Wildland Urban Interface Code (including all of the appendices). The Code applies throughout the unincorporated area of Teton County, Wyoming. The proposed amendment will expand the wildland-urban interface area to include all of the unincorporated areas of Teton County, Wyoming. 

A hearing to take public comment on the proposed amendment shall be held on November 19, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. during the regular meeting of the Teton County Board of County Commissioners Meeting at the County Commissioner's Chambers located at 200 S. Willow Street in Jackson. Information regarding the proposed amendment can be obtained at the Jackson Hole Fire/EMS Department located at 40 East Pearl Ave., in Jackson, Wyoming, or by clicking HERE. PRO Housing Grant Application Available for Public Review

The Jackson/Teton County Housing Department and Housing Authority Board are pleased to share this draft application for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Pathways to Removing Obstacles to Housing grant (PRO Housing). This application is available for public review and comment for a period of 15 days, from September 30, 2024 to October 15, 2025 at 5pm MST. Amendments to Title 11 - Teton County Property Tax Refund Rules

A public hearing will be held by the Teton County Board of County Commissioners for the purpose of considering amendments to Title 11 - Teton County Property Tax Refund Rules, pursuant to the Wyoming Administrative Procedures Act (Wyo. Stat. §16-6-101, et. seq.) due to changes to the program enacted by the Wyoming Legislature in 2024 through amendments to Wyo. Stat. §39-13-109(c). The hearing will be held in the Commissioners Chambers at the Teton County Administrative Building (200 S.
